The Southern snow and ice driving day is designed to let you experience the thrill of driving on snow and ice within a controlled and safe environment where we can introduce and experience dynamic control and activities designed with fun in mind and also a bit of competition for bragging rites!

Our experienced instructors will ensure that you and your group get the most out of your driving experience, we can tailor courses to suit - whether its team building, skill acquisition or just to have fun! Each experience is structured provide a safe but challenging driving experience delivering a fun and action packed day.

Welcome & Introduction

Starting at 9am sharp you will be introduced to our experienced team, get signed into SHPG and be taken through the plan for the day, safety restrictions, and the basic vehicle handling tips you will need to know for the day.

Morning Drive:

Get straight out into the cars and into the driving straight away!
Our first round includes acceleration & braking, lane change, drift circles, over steer / understeer race tracks and slalom experiences. In the cars you will experience the thrill of getting sideways on Snow and Ice learning the skills of dynamic control.

Lunch
Head back to the lodge where you will be served a 3 course buffet lunch in our upstairs resturant. Finish with tea and coffee before heading back out for round 2!

Afternoon Drive:

Refine your driving skills and let the competition begin! 
Heading back out for the second session of your winter driving experience you will now get the chance to have a go a the giant slalom beofre heading into our specially designed autocross course where we will start the timed runs! Each person will have plenty of chances to get the best time of the day and hone your snow and ice driving skills to beat your mates! 

Reward, Relax & refresh
Time to head back to the lodge for a cold beer, warm mulled wine or coffee before a short prize giving, certificates and transfers back to your accommodation.
